３年次『ビジネス・コミュニケーション』授業

情報ビジネス系列の商業科目「ビジネスコミュニケーション」の授業を行いました。
授業では、イギリス出身のALT・ルーカス先生と一緒に、ビジネスにおける自己紹介や名刺交換について、英語によるロールプレイングを行いました。
まず、日本とイギリスに共通する点について考えることで、イギリスを身近に感じ、英語でコミュニケーションすることへの関心を高めました。次に、スライドを用いて、日本がイギリスから学んだレンガ造りについて紹介し、両国のつながりについて学びました。
さらに、ルーカス先生とのロールプレイングを通して、ネイティブの自然な英語表現や話し方、名刺の渡し方など、日本とイギリスをはじめとするヨーロッパとの文化やビジネス慣習の違いについて学びました。また、アイコンタクトの大切さを知り、相手を意識してコミュニケーションすることの重要性を学ぶことができました。
これからも、英語による実践的なビジネスコミュニケーションを学び、世界で活躍できる人材を目指していきます。

Business Communication
In the “Business Communication” class of the Information Business course, students practiced by role-playing with ALT teacher Lucas from the United Kingdom, focusing on business situations such as exchanging business cards and conducting negotiations.
First, by considering the similarities between Japan and the United Kingdom, students became more interested in speaking English. Next, using slides, we introduced brick-laying techniques that Japan learned from the UK, helping students understand the ties between the two countries.
Furthermore, through role-playing with Lucas, students learned about the differences in cultural and business customs between Japan and the UK, as well as other European countries, including natural English expressions and speaking styles used by native speakers, and the proper way to exchange business cards. They also learned the importance of eye contact and the significance of being mindful of their conversation partner when communicating.
Moving forward, we will continue to learn practical business communication in English, aiming to become professionals capable of thriving on the global stage.
